Encounter at OfficeMax

So, today I went to OfficeMax to purchase a copy of Microsoft Office XP. First off, I've always been the computer whiz-kid of the family. I taught just about everyone on my block had to read and write emails, surf the net, etc. I was one of the early adopters of AOL (now the standards-setter of the internet).

So anyways, as I was debating between which version of Office to purchase when an OfficeMax employee (white male in his mid-20s) approaches me with this smug know-it-all look on his face (like he is more knowledgeable about the internet than me!). Well, he starts asking me if I "need any help?". What? An African-American male can't be looking at a computer product unless he is planning on stealing it?

So I replied "No, I'm fine" and showed him my AmEx card to show that this "negro" has purchasing power. He replied with "Ok, Sir" and then walked away. I just walked out of the store and decided I will never shop there again. Anyone know of a reputable black-owned office supply company? Let me know.

Hey, great blog you got here. I've bookmarked it for future reference. I should probably spend more time writing my own blogs and things, but I find I get drawn into reading other peoples.

anyway, as most people are lookgin for ways to make money online, I thought I'd help you out with a site that has some great tools.

Incredible strategies for online money making

Not bad to sit around doing nothing while your bank balance keeps growing. :)

Thanks brother. Inter-racial gay couples seem to be the next mainstream media target.
